Jon Olsson este freeskier si ski racer alpin profesionist. S-a nascut in 1982, in Suedia, si schiaza de cand era mic. Nu a stat degeaba, si se simte lucrul asta. Este cunoscut pentru inventarea mai multor flipuri duble, printre care un D-spin 720 into a flatspin 540 (DJ Flip), un switch double rodeo 1080 (Hexo Flip), un double flatspin 900 (Kangaroo Flip), si un switch cork 720 to flatspin 540 (The Tornado). De asemenea, Olsson detine 9 medalii Winter X-Games, si a castigat multe alte concursuri precum  Big Air la Winter X-Games 08, US Free Skiing Open la Vail – Colorado, Red Bull Big Air la Åre, Scandinavian Big Mountain Championships la Riksgränsen si World Superpipe Championships in Whistler BC. Incepand din 2008, Olsson are propria lui competitie: JOSS [Jon Olsson Super Sessions], care se desfasoara la Åre, in Suedia si in cadrul careia echipe de sportivi schiaza timp de aproape doua saptamani impreuna cu echipe de filmare, cu scopul de a crea scurt metraje.

Printre altele, Jon Olsson detine recordul de a avea cele mai multe locuri III ocupate pe podium in orice sport legat de schi.

Winter X Games LIVE streeming / Tignes, 10-12 Martie ’10

The inaugural edition of the Winter X Games Europe in the French resort of Tignes begins on the 10th March, and with a confirmed list of top-level freestyle athletes (ski and snowboard) including Winter X Games 14 Gold medalist Bobby Brown, 2010 Olympic Bronze medalist Scotty Lago, 2010 Olympic Gold medalist Torah Bright, Winter X Games 8 Bronze medalist Antti Autti and Winter X Games 14 Gold medalist Kaya Turski, expectations are running high for both the superpipe contest that will take place in a pipe identical in size to the one use at Winter X Games 14 in Aspen (220 meters long, 18 meters wide, 5 to 6 meters high!) and the slopestyle, which will take place on a 600m long course featuring 8 different types of jump and 4 rails, including one 12 meters long!
