A fost Mocanita Photo Tour / 1-6 Martie '09
We are very happy to see the line back in one piece again so we thought that it will be very nice to celebrate the 2009 spring with a phototour.
Starting on Sunday, March 1st, until the 6th CFF Viseu de Sus will host the steam week for the rail photographers, video makers and enthusiasts. Just like in the old days we are preparing special steam trains pulled by ?Mariuta? (764-211), ?Elvetia? (764-421), Krauss (763-193), ?Cozia 1? (764-408R), diesel motor-wagon and other special trains. In order to catch the authentic elements of mocanita daily schedule the program will be established one day in advance for each special steam train. Tea, coffee and lunch will be available in the heated mocanita passenger wagons between photo stops.
It is important to know that this is not a phototour for ?nice weather all inclusive perfect conditions? photographers. With this tour we are trying to catch the authenticity of this line that had been destroyed by last year floods. The infrastructure is still week so it is not guaranteed that the train will run daily for the entire route. Snow and other weather changes can affect the daily schedules and runs.
The number of participants is limited to 20 persons.
Arriving and departure from Viseu de Sus is individual travel.
Price for the photo tour: 500,- EUR.
The price includes: 6 days narrow gauge steam trains program,
